David Laing joined the Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. Board in 2016 and sits on the Compensation Committee, Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee, and Sustainability Committee. David is a mining engineer and independent mining executive with global experience. He was formerly Chief Operating Officer for Equinox Gold, True Gold Mining, and COO and EVP of Quintana Resources Capital. David was an original executive of Endeavour Mining, a gold producer in West Africa. He previously held senior positions in mining investment banking and debt advisory at Endeavour Financial, Standard Bank, MRDI, Bema Gold Corp., and various roles at Billiton.

Jorge A. Ganoza co-founded Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. in 2004 and currently serves as our President and CEO and as a Director on our Board. Jorge is an experienced geological engineer who has worked on mineral exploration, mining and business development projects throughout Latin America since 1995. Before founding Fortuna, he worked in business development at senior levels for several private and public Canadian junior mining companies operating in Central and South America. He graduated from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in 1995. Jorge served as director of Ferreycorp from March 2017 to July 2020.

David Farrell joined the Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. Board in 2013 and sits on the Audit, Compensation, and Corporate Governance and Nominating Committees. David is a lawyer with extensive corporate and mining experience who founded Davisa Consulting, a private consulting firm working with global mining companies, in 2011. Prior to creating Davisa, he worked at Endeavour Financial and Stikeman Elliott. David has negotiated, structured, and closed more than US$25 billion worth of M&A and structured financing transactions for natural resource companies. He graduated from the University of British Columbia with a B.Comm. (Honours, Finance) and an LL.B. and was called to the bar in both British Columbia and England. David holds an ICD.D designation from the Rotman School of Management and the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Kylie Dickson joined the Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. Board in 2017 and sits on the Audit Committee and Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee. Kylie is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant who has worked with companies throughout the mining lifecycle and played a pivotal role in multiple financings and M&A transactions. She was most recently the Vice President of Business Development at Equinox Gold Corp. and, before that, VP, Business Development at Trek Mining. Kylie previously worked as Chief Financial Officer for JDL Gold Corp., Anthem United Inc. and Esperanza Resources, and served as the Corporate Controller of Minefinders Corporation.

Mario Szotlender co-founded Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. in 2004 and currently serves as a Director on our Board and sits on the Sustainability Committee. Mario holds a degree in international relations and is fluent in several languages. He has successfully directed Latin American affairs for numerous private and public companies since 1985, including various mineral exploration and development joint ventures in Central and South America. He recently served as President of Rusoro Mining Ltd., formerly Mena Resources Inc.

Ms. Harcourt is a sustainability professional with over 27 years of experience, principally in the mining industry. Ms. Harcourt has worked with a number of mining companies and on behalf of Equator Principles signatory financial institutions and has performed a number of consultancy assignments for International Finance Corporation. Ms. Harcourt received a BSc Hons, Environmental Science, from Sheffield University and a MSc Environmental Technology, from Imperial College, London, and is a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) and a Member of the Institution of Environmental Scientists. Ms Harcourt is a non-executive director of Condor Gold plc.

Alfredo Sillau joined the Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. Board in 2016 and sits on the Audit Committee, Compensation Committee, and Sustainability Committee. Alfredo is Managing Partner, CEO and Director of Faro Capital, an investment management firm that manages mutual, private equity and real estate funds. Previously, he headed the business development in Peru for Compass Group, a regional investment management firm, until late 2011. As CEO of Compass, Alfredo actively took part in the structuring, promoting and management of investment funds with approximately US$500 million in assets under management.  He is a graduate of the Harvard Business School.

Chief Operating Officer – West Africa

Mr. Criddle, a metallurgist, has over 20 years of operating and project development experience. He recently held the position of Managing Director at Matador Mining and also served as a director of Roxgold. From 2012 to 2018, Mr. Criddle was the Chief Operating Officer at Roxgold. Previously, he was the Chief Operating Officer at Azimuth Resources Ltd. where he was responsible for resource growth and development studies. Prior to that, he held the position of the Acting Chief Operating Officer of Perseus Mining Ltd. where he was responsible for operations and the Edikan Gold Mine in Ghana and the Definitive Feasibility Study for the Tengrela Gold Project in Cote D’Ivoire. Before joining Perseus, Mr. Criddle managed the construction, commissioning and operation of the Sabodala Gold Project for Mineral Deposits Ltd. He has also held a variety of senior technical roles at Placer Dome/Barrick in Australia, Papua New Guinea and Tanzania.

Luis D. Ganoza has held the position of CFO at Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. since 2006. Luis has worked in operations and financial management of mining companies since 2000. Before joining Fortuna, he was the Controller and Treasurer for Minera Atacocha (subsequently acquired by Votarantim Group) one of Peru's largest public mining companies. Luis has a B.Sc. in Mining Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria in Peru, and an M.Sc. in Accounting and Finance from The London School of Economics. He also serves as Board Chair for Atico Mining Corporation, a TSX.V listed company.

Linda Desaulniers was appointed Corporate Counsel to Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. in 2018. Linda has wide-ranging legal experience in private practice, acting for a broad range of Canadian and foreign public companies, primarily in the mining industry.  She graduated from the University of East Anglia with LLB (Hons) in 1987 and is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Law Society of England and Wales.

Manuel Ruiz-Conejo joined Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. as VP Business Development in 2008, and was appointed as VP Project Development in 2009, and as VP Operations in 2011. Manuel is a mining engineer and executive with extensive engineering, financial, and community relations experience in Peru. As an executive, he devised and supervised the execution of several multimillion-dollar mining deals. Before joining Fortuna, Manuel was Chief Operating Manager of Minera Atacocha, now Nexa Resources. He graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria in Peru in 1987, and graduated from the Executive Management Program at the Universidad de Piura in Peru in 2001.

Eric Chapman joined Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. 2011 and was appointed VP, Technical Services in 2017. Eric is a certified professional geologist in British Columbia, Canada, and serves as Fortuna´s Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101. Before he joined Fortuna, he was a Senior Consultant to Snowden Mining Industry Consultants. Eric has a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Southampton, and an M.Sc. in Mining Geology from the Camborne School of Mines.

David Volkert was appointed VP Exploration at Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. in 2016. David is a successful mineral exploration geologist and mine finder with technical, managerial, and business experience from projects all over the world. Prior to joining Fortuna, he was Exploration Manager and Chief Geologist for Barrick Gold Corporation and VP Exploration for Bear Creek Mining Corp. David earned a B.Sc. in Geological Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in 1977 and is a certified professional geologist in the United States and British Columbia, Canada.

Mr. Weedon is a senior geologist with over 25 years of international mining industry experience in exploration, development and production in Africa and Australasia spanning junior to major mining companies. Prior to joining Roxgold, Mr. Weedon was the Exploration Director, Australia, at Newmont Mining Corporation where he was responsible for supporting all exploration activities in Australia. Previously at Newmont, he held the position of Exploration Director, Ghana, for over six years where he led the discovery of the +2 million ounce Apensu underground deposits, the expansion of the Subika underground project, and delineation of the Akyem underground project. Mr. Weedon has also held the positions of Vice-President, Business Development, Africa, and Geology Manager - West Africa for Anglogold Ashanti. Prior to this, he worked in several African countries in exploration, development and production and across a wide range of roles in Australia and New Zealand since 1991. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Geology) and a Post Graduate Diploma of Economic Geology from Curtin University of Technology, Perth, and is member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (MAIG).

Mr Gratton is a Chartered Professional Accountant with more than 30 years of experience in management and has spent the last 13 years working in the mining industry in finance, operational support and government relations in West Africa and Canada.

Jose Pacora joined Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. as Corporate Project Manager in 2012 and became VP Project Development in 2014. Jose is a mechanical engineer with extensive engineering, construction and project management experience. Before joining Fortuna, Jose was a Project Manager for Pan American Silver, an Engineering Manager at Kilborn Peru, subsidiary of Kilborn-SNC Lavalin, and worked at Kilborn Engineering in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria in Peru in 1980.

Cesar E. Velasco is the Country Head at Minera Bateas S.A.C., the Peruvian subsidiary of Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. that operates our Caylloma MIne in Arequipa. As a skilled executive with global experience in the mining and manufacturing industry, Cesar has held senior management positions for large private and public multinational companies throughout Latin America, including EXSA, ENAEX – EXSA JV, and Dyno Nobel Latinoamerica. He has a B.Sc. in Marine Biology from the Universidad de Bogota Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Colombia and graduated from an Executive Program for Mergers and Acquisition from Stanford Graduate School of Business in the USA.

Luiz Camargo is the Country Head at Compañía Minera Cuzcatlán S.A. de C.V., the Mexican subsidiary of Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. that operates our San Jose Mine in Oaxaca. Before this position, he was Cuzcatlan’s Director of Finance and Corporate Affairs and held executive positions in several multinational companies, including Corporación Moctezuma and Anglo American plc. Luiz is a public accountant with a graduate degree in financial administration in Brazil and has a diploma in the Top Management program by IPADE in Mexico.

Wilber Zamora is the Country Head at Minera Mansfield S.A., the Argentinian subsidiary of Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. that operates our Lindero Project in Salta. Previously, Wilber, an experienced mining engineer, was the Core Business Manager at Minera Bateas S.A.C., which runs our Caylloma Mine in Arequipa. He graduated with an engineering degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, holds a Masters of Engineering from McGill University in Canada, and completed an Executive Management Program at the Universidad de Piura in Peru.
